Aresti Trisquel Cabernet Sauvignon 2015
This ruby red color wine shows aromas of ripe fruit like plum and strawberry, with some touches of hazelnuts, anise and coffee. In the mouth is silky, with sweet tannins and a juicy end.
Aresti Trisquel Red Blend 2017
A wine of remarkable structure and complexity. Intense ruby red color and black currant and menthol aromas. On the palate, notes of red fruits and spices blend harmoniously with ripe tannins to a lingering, delicate finish.
Argiano Brunello di Montalcino 2016
Argiano's Brunello di Montalcino is distinguished by its elegance and its deep ruby red color. It presents a good concentration on the mid-palate and a persistent aftertaste, with a rounded and voluptuous body, and interesting, silky tannins. It unites potency and elegance and looks like having a promising future. With its tempting perfumes of red berries and its clean freshness, the complexity of this wine presents an excellent balance. To fully appreciate its qualities, decant the wine at least one hour before serving.
Argiano Rosso Non Confunditur 2018
Non Confunditur is a wine that shows definite character, it is full-bodied with soft-tannins and has a long lasting finish. This blend made of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah and Sangiovese shows exciting power, with the inherent sweetness of the Merlot acting as a bridge between the firm earthiness of the Sangiovese grape, the spicy blackcurrant of the Cabernet and the warm red fruit of the Syrah. The result is a generous, round red wine for early to mid-term drinking with nice aromas of currant and generous fruit flavors.
Argiolas Costamolino Vermentino 2017
Made from 90% Vermentino and 10% of other Sardinian grapes grown at an elevation of 625 feet. The grapes were harvested in September and vinified in stainless steel tanks. Malolactic fermentation was partially carried out, allowing for greater richness without sacrificing the typical freshness of Vermentino. Costamolino is lemon-green in color with intense yet delicate aromas of citrus, pineapple, tropical fruits and honey. On the palate, the wine shows a delightfully zesty acidity, which makes it the wine of choice for many dishes, from fish antipasti and pastas to vegetables terrine, salads, white meat casseroles and risotto. Also delicious with Asian food and sushi.
Argiolas Costera Cannonau 2019
Healthy full red. Deep aromas of blackberry, black cherry and mocha are complemented by balsamic nuances. Concentrated, sappy and savory, displaying saline nuances to the black cherry and plum flavors. Finishes with serious depth and the broad, polished tannins to support aging.
Argot Pinot Noir Mosaic 2016
Medium ruby in color, the 2016 Pinot Noir Mosaic has a pretty nose of pink peppercorn, herbs and dusty earth over a core of savory black fruit and spices. Medium-bodied, it gives good layers of flavors in the mouth with concentrated black fruits and loads of spice, grainy tannins to support and a long, lingering finish.
Argyle Brut 2016
A light, airy style delivers plenty of pear and pineapple fruit, keeping the balance delicate and fresh. This shows a refreshing balance, and the flavors persist. An incredible deal especially considering it is a vintage sparkling wine!
Argyle Pinot Noir 2019
Light in color and texture, this Pinot displays pretty watermelon and cherry flavors that ride smoothly over velvety tannins, hinting at mint as this all lingers enticingly.
Argyle Reserve Pinot Noir 2017
Aromas in these cool growing seasons are always "leap out of the glass" intense! Look for violets, spiced black cherry, and a hint of blueberry blossom. The black cherry component evolves into red cherry/currant aromas with time in the glass. (That's like discovering the Fountain of Youth for Pinot Noir!). The texture is immediately a surprisingly dense mouthfeel, yet light on it's feet. Pinot noir red fruits abound throughout the palate. There's an amazing balance, where each segment of flavor from beginning, to middle, to the long finish is of equal intensity.
Arnaldo Rivera Barolo Undicicomuni 2015
A dense and polished red with dark berry, dried strawberry and black pepper aromas and flavors. Full body, polished tannins and a crisp finish.
Arnot Roberts Trout Gulch Chardonnay 2019
Polished, nuanced and transparent. Lemon peel, white flowers, mint and chalk notes give the Trout Gulch its distinctive, bright flavor profile.
Arpepe Rosso di Valtellina 2015
This “entry level” wine is anything but. From vines up to 50 years old, fruit is sourced from the lower parts of their parcel in the steep, sheer “Sassella” cru and the wine is a perfect introduction to the house style of pretty, delicate alpine Nebbiolo.
Arraez 'Calabuig' Macabeo 2019
Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Grigio drinkers will find much to like here. There is vibrancy, zesty, citrusy notes and some minerality. There is enough going on to keep most drinkers coming back for more!
Arterberry Maresh Dundee Hills Chardonnay 2017
Pale yellow. Fresh honeydew, Meyer lemon, pear, jasmine and toasted brioche on the expressive, mineral-accented nose. Juicy and expansive on the palate, offering intense citrus and orchard fruit, sweet butter and anise flavors and an energizing suggestion of ginger. Shows superb energy and mineral cut on the penetrating finish, which features a suave floral quality and a briny touch of oyster shell.
Arterberry Maresh Pinot Noir Old Vine 2017
Perfumed and succulent, voluminous yet ethereal, it's the kind of wine we love to drink and love to share. Exquisitely fresh and silky, with a pulsing persistence, this is totally irresistible. Weighing in at only 12.8% alcohol, it is delightfully refreshing.
Artuke Rioja Pies Negros 2015
The Grapes for ‘Pies Negres’ come from several plots in the same village of Abalos in Rioja Alavesa ~ Basque Country. In this way, they can transmit a village character to the wine, defined by the specific continental climate and its chalky clay soils. The wine is traditionally foot trodden, henceforth the name “black feet.”
Ashes & Diamonds Blanc No. 2 2017
This is a blend of equal parts Sémillon and Sauvignon Blanc, barrel-fermented and aged in 40% new French oak for one year. It's fresh and alive in orange blossom aromatics and strong impressions of peach, pear and green apple. A bold streak of minerality gives it a hint of gravel and rock.
Ashes & Diamonds Mtn Cuvee Saffron 2016
ASHES & DIAMONDS’ Mountain Cuvée “Saffron Vineyard” comes from Lisa Chu’s organically farmed Mt. Veeder site, located high above the fog inversion line at an altitude of 1,500 feet, where daytime temperatures are often 15 degrees cooler than on the valley floor. the deep-rooted Merlot and Cabernet Franc grapevines were planted in 2000 in thin soils comprised of uplifted marine sediment and fractured shale. Soils with naturally low fertility and no irrigation make for naturally balanced grapevines with low yields and small berries. Once at the winery, the grapes are cold-soaked until native fermentation begins. The resulting wine is bouncy and outgoing, with explosive red fruit aromas like biting into a ripe, juicy plum, and fine, focused tannins.
Athletes St-Nic-de-Bourgueil 2018
Loire Valley Cabernet Franc without herbaceous, vegetal notes??? You bet! Ripe aromas of kirsch, cherry, black raspberry, violet and smoky spices. Perfumed and penetrating on the palate, showing impressively pure red fruit flavors and mounting spice. Bright and fruit forward throughout.
