This 100% Cannonau (Grenache) is bright garnet in color with an intense, persistent, and full flavor. It was aged 6 months in barriques and 6 in stainless steel tanks.
This is a very characteristic white from Sardinia, balanced and well structured. The land, the geographic location and the low yield of grapes, give it its unmistakable typical. It has greenish hues and soft, ripe fruit flavors.
Zéra Chardonnay is a sparkling organic alcohol-free drink characterized by its delicate yet persistent bubbles. It offers a pale yellow hue and bright silver core. The nose is dominated by fresh, crunchy aromas of white flowers, green apple and white pear which combine harmoniously with citrus fruits and buttery notes. Its creamy mousse coats the palate and gives way to subtle aromas of citrus fruits and an exceptionally fresh finish.
67% Shiraz, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon, 13% Grenache, 5% Mourvedre. A luscious lifestyle wine with hints of fruit and spice, giving a first impression of red berries and chocolate with slight cedar wood undertones. Soft pliable tannins lend subtle support to the structure, yet are unobtrusive on the succulent palate.
It means “grasshopper,” and is their basic Chasselas, though it’s hardly “basic” with 13 months on the fine lees. An original, nutty wine that’s as tasty as a dumpling, it should be by-the-glass everywhere!
One of Croatia’s best examples of Dalmatian coastal southern red wine, it is a little less bitter than your average classic Plavac at this price point, with it being completely dry with low residual unfermented sugar. The color is purple-burgundy with blue reflections, and the delightful aroma is unaccented, restrained, and discreet so it ends up being pleasant to all connoisseurs of good red wine. Its freshness and medium-body aroma gives the Zlatan Plavac Šibenik distinct aromas of the Plavac Mali varietal, most of which are darker cherry and raspberry fruits, currants, herbs, laced with the structure of the easily recognizable fine tannins and earthiness that are ever-so-present in Plavac Mali wines.
Areni is the king of Armenia’s grapes and possibly one of the oldest grape varieties in the world. Elegant and fresh, and thick skinned, Areni has adapted perfectly to the high altitudes and extreme temperatures variations of Vayots Dzor, its natural habitat. Karasì is a tribute to the 6,100 year wine tradition of Armenia. Aged in traditional amphorae, this wine embraces the living heritage of Armenia.
Ancient indigenous carieties, Voskeat and Garandmak, have been present in Armenia for millennia. This blend is vibrant, juicy and layered with beautiful acidity that comes from the high altitudes. The floral and spicy notes give way to a full-bodied white and the final blend is like a symphony on one’s pallet.
A deep and intense cabernet with great complexity. Somewhat mineral driven with a nice floral nose and a touch of green pepper.
A svelte red, with concentrated red plum and raspberry flavors, along with some underbrush notes. Shows notes of coffee, blueberry, and chocolate with secondary notes of licorice, black cherry, cinnamon, baking spices, and sage. The spicy finish has a creamy texture.
This hand harvested, single vineyard from Gualtallary is 100% Pinot Noir and is completely un-oaked to let the fruit driven quality of the wine shine. Bright red fruits, predominantly raspberry, jump out of the glass with gamey notes, cola, dried leaves, and forest floor. The mouthfeel is rich, soft, and supple with light tannin and medium acidity. The chalky soil comes through in the long finish, great with or without food.
Calm and pure blackberry and cassis aromas feed into an intense palate with freshness and rubbery tannins. While not loud, this goes heavy on the gas and features edgy dark-berry flavors. A rock-solid finish confirms the structure on this cement-fermented-and-aged Malbec from Paraje Altamira in the Uco Valley.
Deep purple-red color, bursting with ripe red fruit aromas such as cherry, plum and blackberry. It's full bodied with plenty of chocolate, cherry liquor, tobacco and spicy notes.
