The name is derived from the battle (“bataille”) that took place where the château and vineyard are today during the Hundred Years’ War, around 1453. In this battle, the French re-conquered the neighboring Château Latour from the English, a crucial point for ending the 300 year long reign of the English in Aquitaine. The vineyards spread out over 57 hectares with the average vine age being 40 years old. The soil is silica and gravel, but the heart of the vineyard is on a deep gravel bed over a subsoil of clay and sandstone. There are also some parcels located in between Château Latour and Pichon Lalande. Bold and fruity, this is a black-currant-flavored wine with soft tannins. In this vintage, the crisp acidity has also kicked in to give the wine its lift and to balance the ripe flavors.
This glorious Gamay boasts blackberry, cassis, baking spice, and crushed rock converge on a lush, long finish. A beautiful balance between fruit and acidity, the 2018 Dupeuble Beaujolais reminds us of a $30 Cru Beaujolais with its depth and structure. It has lift, vibrancy, and loads of spice and minerality.
A finely knit Champagne, defined by well-cut acidity that frames notes of Asian pear, white cherry, slivered almond and fleur de sel. The mousse shows a lovely creamy viscosity. Hints of citrus and spice emerge on the finish. Drink now through 2028.
Effusively fruity and light bodied, offering terrific floral notes, persistent effervescence, and a clean, delicate finish. There is perfect body and weight in this crystal clear, pure sparkling wine. It’s an ideal aperitif to enjoy any day of the year.
This Cabernet Sauvignon has great texture and structure with a medium mouthfeel. There are aromas of dark plum, cherry, cassis, warm barrel spice, vanilla and dark chocolate. In the glass there are concentrated flavors of cherry, cassis, blackberry, plum, spice, tobacco and chocolate.
Well-balanced and fresh, with a floral overtone and citrusy acidity mixing with flavors of candied orange zest, baked peach, graham cracker and dried papaya. Drink now.
An herbal style of Sauvignon Blanc with aromas of grass, fresh herbs and grapefruit with a clean, fresh finish. The mostly stainless steel fermentation makes this a crisp wine that would pair well with dishes with cream sauce.
This is a dark, wintery and richly etched red wine that delivers bold intensity and tight tannic firmness. In fact, the tannins offer an extra point of astringency in this slightly cooler vintage. This is a dark and brooding red wine that needs time to evolve and soften.
A combination of 90% Vernatsch and 10% Lagrein. It is aged briefly in large oak barrels (tonne). A fresh, complex, elegant red wine with violet, red berry and mineral notes. Remarkably versatile, it is sure to please a wide variety of palates and will pair nicely with a broad array of dishes. Particulary nice with a beef ragout over pasta or enjoy it with pork, veal or game birds.
Delicious, light Burgundian chardonnay. This fresh white blends mineral and citrus notes on the palate, finishing with surprising structure and elegance.
The Cabernet Mumelter is a typical Cabernet Riserva. This cuvée of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc blends the characteristics of the two grape varieties to create a full-bodied, elegant and harmonious wine with concentrated fruit.
Straw yellow with lively greenish highlights. Intense bubbles, fine and persistent. Delicate floral hints of acacia, yellow flowers and fruity notes of almond and peach. On the palate this wine is fresh and smooth; dry, with delicate sapidity.
With the blossoms of a black raspberry bramble with a quick sift of white pepper, mocha and earth in the perfume, this wine is all about its elegant tannins, the finesse, freshness and purity of the sweet black and crisp, spicy red fruits. Produced from a blend of 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 27% Merlot, 6% Petit Verdot and 2% Cabernet Franc.
Fruity, with aromas of bread crust and rich floral sensations. Full, harmonic and fresh, with a good acidic structure but not sharp; long, full aftertaste, good aromatics and nice persistence.

This is an old-vine co-fermentation of Carignan, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Semillon. The result is a medium+ bodied, fragrant wine, rich in fruit, dense yet not heavy texture, bright flavors, and a solid backbone. The attack is mild and gentle, with juicy, spicy/flowery notes, leading to more grip and assertive, earthy/animal tones as it travels on to the back of the palate . This one definitely has a good aging potential (15+ years), although it’s very accessible and inviting from right now.
An adventurous blend of four varietals spearheaded by Tuscany's native Trebbiano, the "Corzanello" ushers in a combination of the famously fresh drinkability of central Italy's white mainstays and exotic flourishes of a less expected nature. Wispy floral tinges decorate gently tangy citrus and juicy tree fruit while a touch of clean almond and delicate leesy richness hang out in the background, adding depth. This is an unmistakably healthy expression of Corzano's landscape and the loving meticulousness of the family which tends it.
A delightful sparkling chenin blanc from the loire valley. Notes of apple, lemon, and floral aromatics. Great texture and bright acid.
Wild vanilla and white peach intermingle in this substantial wine, entirely well-composed in round layers of tropical pineapple and juicy citrus. The oak is subtle and gives the finish a lift, accenting the vanilla.
