Bench Pinot Noir Sonoma Coast 2019
This Pinot Noir is sourced from benchland vineyards on the Sonoma Coast, where valley floor transitions to foothills. These vines produce concentrated and intense fruit that results in an elegantly balanced Pinot Noir with depth and character. Grapes were primarily harvested from the Sangiacomo Amaral Ranch Vineyard and were gently extracted during fermentation on native yeast. The wine was then aged for 7 months in 30% new French oak before bottling. A bright ruby color, this wine offers intense floral and raspberry aromas. In the mouth the wine has good intensity with darker earth flavors and bright raspberry fruit. Fine tannins add structure and balance to a long finish.
